We are more than excited to announce the invention and introduction of the almostGolf NT Night Golf ball to our products and event offering. THE FIRST GOLF'N DOLPHIN CHALLENGE IS IN THE BOOKS (More photos coming soon)

Everyone was afraid of rain, but this is LA...it simply doesn't rain. So the tournament went off without a hitch. We had nearly a full field of 65 players, including teams from the Golf Team, Tennis Team and Pali High School Band. We even had a rocket display to launch the event at noon. Per the course, we painted 8 holes through parking lots, with another five holes through the stadium and the rest of the holes meandering through campus. In all it was a colorful and challenging tournament. (Hole #1 left and Hole 15 below) 

When it came to painting the course this was our third campus course design. As you can see from the photos we went with carpet squares on 15 with paint around it. On Hole #1 we went with a blue and yellow color scheme to go with the Slip-N-Slide along the left hand side. Stay tuned for further blog entries where we will discuss other holes and how we actually painted the course.

 RESULTS: The golf team chose not to take their bonus strokes and just play straight up golf. Even with that, they managed to out score everyone with a team low score of 48 for the 18 hole Par 66 course. The Pali high faculty came in with a 50, but here is the catch. The golf team split before the awards ceremony, so we had to award the winning hot dog and trophy to the Pali high faculty. (Complete scores will follow soon)

FUNDRAISING: We are excited to announce that the Pali High Band raised the most money and therefore won the fundraising prize of tickets to Raging Waters.  This was our first real attempt at organizing a Golfathon to help the various teams and clubs to raise money. Though it was an alien concept for most students, several teams took the ball and ran with it. Our goal is to perfect our golfathon engine and model so that more schools can tap into this really easy way to raise money...stay tuned.
