THE 2009 LA Off-Course GOLF OPEN (& National Championships) IS NOW ON THE BOOKS:
It was a sunny Saturday in Lawndale CA, for the inaugural LA Off-Course Golf Open. After two days of painting and prepping, we created a 25 hole course complete with floating water hazard and several synthetic water hazards.
Highlights of the event were Jorge Badel wiping the field with a blistering (53) -27 under par. His closest competitor and runner up, was Heath McCall with a respectable (64) -16.

WE ARE THE OFF-COURSE GOLFERS ASSOC. Today, we are a group of almostGolf ball evangelists who've been hitting and playing golf through our neighborhoods, parks, and school yards since 2003 when the ball was invented. Our team includes teaching pros, marketing and advertising executives, golf coaches, teachers, as well as the 'the guy and gal next door'. Many of our teaching pros/event producers are the ones responsible for pioneering 'in school' golf programs in over 25,000 primary and secondary schools across the U.S. and in Europe, using the almostGolf ball.
